WE ARE HOPE

The Catholic Charities Annual Appeal is continuing. The goal for the Appeal 2021 is $10 million. Earlier this week Catholic Charities reported that almost 87% of the goal has been achieved raising $8,665,046.47. We have been a very integral part of the success of the Catholic Charities Appeal in the past and we continue to be so this year.

St. Louis parishioners should be proud that we are able to be a part of the success of the Catholic Charities Appeal. I am proud to announce that St. Louis has surpassed its goal this year raising $129,614.99; $11,062.99 over our goal. Even in these difficult times, the generosity of St. Louis parishioners stands out. This year, once again, we surpassed our goal of $118,552.00.

There is still a need and Catholic Charities is more than a million dollars short of its goal. If you have not yet had an opportunity to help Catholic Charities this year, there is still time to do so. All of us are to be congratulated for the outpouring of generosity that has been demonstrated in past years, this year and over the years to assist our neighbors in need.

As we can see, one person cannot do it alone. It takes all of us working together with the means we have available to help our needy brothers and sisters throughout Western New York. Even the smallest donation goes a long way to alleviate some of the needs our brothers and sisters face.

The Appeal runs until the end of June. If you have not donated to the 2021 Catholic Charities Appeal, there is still time to make a contribution. On behalf of all who serve Catholic Charities, thank you very much.
