Many thanks to all the people who work so hard to help Christmas happen at St. Louis!
Last week we concluded our Christmas season with the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord. The first Christmas miracle occurred some 2000 years ago when Jesus was born into our world as our savior. The first Christmas miracle was able to happen due to the many people who contributed to making possible the birth of Christ. We think of Mary and Joseph, the Angel Gabriel, the Shepherds and the Magi just to name a few. There were many others present and behind the scenes that participated in that first Christmas.
This miracle was able to occur again this year thanks to many individuals who worked so hard to make Christmas come this year. We are most grateful to all those who helped prepare our worship space by decorating the Church. Once again, many people commented on how beautiful the Church was as always.
This year once again we were able to enjoy our wonderful choir whose voices lift the hearts and spirits of all who come here to pray and celebrate the birth of Christ. Along with the choir, Frank Scinta, Jim Mrozek, and Erin Peradotto did a miraculous job in providing us with spectacular musical selections to make this joyous celebration lift our spirits.
As usual, our sacristans, ushers and greeters provided a warm welcome for all who were able to join us this year to celebrate the Christmas miracle. Thank you to all who contributed their time and talent for a beautiful Advent/Christmas Season. Thank you also to all who prayed with us and visited us during the holidays.
