CELEBRATION OF FIRST EUCHARIST

Next Sunday August 22nd we will be celebrating the Sacrament of First Eucharist once again with some of our young people. Due to the Pandemic, we were not able to complete our preparation with these young people until this past summer. In order that they may have the opportunity to receive the Eucharist, we held special sessions for them to prepare for the Sacrament. They had already received the Sacrament of First penance this past spring when they should have received their First Eucharist.

Next Sunday morning at the 11:00 Mass, we celebrate First Eucharist with 2 of our young people and their families who have been preparing to receive the Body and Blood of Christ for the first time. They will join us at the Table of the Lord each Sunday as we celebrate the Eucharist. We congratulate Beatrice Aielli Collochia and Mason William Puskas.

We are grateful to all who have prepared our children for these special sacraments that they are receiving. Thank you to Ashlee Campbell our Director of Faith Formation for offering the special class times for their preparation. Thank you also to the parents who support their children in the ways of faith formation. Thank you to all our parishioners for their prayers for all who are receiving God’s grace today.
