Annual Preservation Fund Drive is Well Underway

Our Annual Fund Drive begun on the Feast of St. Louis is well underway for this year. The Fund Drive is doing well with 125 donations totaling $43,947, which is ahead of this time last year. $3,362.11 comes from the Labor Day Picnic Raffle which was won by Marilyn Steffan. $760 came from donations made in memory of my mother Virginia “Jean” Manganello and $100 came from a donation in memory of one of our parishioners who recently died. We have always met our lofty goal for the Fund Drive by the end of the year thanks to the great generosity of the parishioners and friends of St. Louis.

Even though this year was a slow start for the projects we had planned to do, we have moved ahead with great speed on completing our planned projects. The Annual Preservation Fund this year was dedicated to painting and plastering areas of the church that were in great need. This has already been completed and looks beautiful. Resealing and stripping of the parking lot has also been completed. The installation of a chair lift going up to the choir for those who have difficulty navigating the winding staircase has been completed as well.

Once again, I thank you for your continued substantial support of our Parish. Your generosity has allowed us to complete many projects over the years. May St. Louis reward all of you for your kindness and generosity.
