GOLDEN AND DIAMOND ANNIVERSARIES OF MARRIAGE

                Annually, the Diocese of Buffalo honors couples who are observing their 50th, 60th and 70th wedding anniversaries recognizing the beauty of their faithfulness, sacrifice, challenges, comforts and joy in daily married life.

                The Diocese is inviting couples who are celebrating their Golden and Diamond Anniversaries of Marriage in 2018 to a special Mass in St. Joseph’s Cathedral on Sunday, October 14th, at 10:30 p.m. On this day, the entire Diocese of Buffalo joins those celebrating their anniversaries. These couples give joy and gratitude to God who has set them among us as a sign of His constant and faithful love.

                During the Mass couples will renew their marriage vows and following Mass, pictures of the anniversary couples will be taken with Bishop Malone in the Lady Chapel. If anyone is interested in celebrating their 50, 60 or 70th anniversary at the Cathedral, please contact the rectory by August 27th, so that proper arrangements can be made.

                To honor these many faith-filled married couples is a special grace. In this way we join them in prayer asking God to keep all married couples faithful in their love for each other so that they may be more and more of one mind and heart.
