CATHOLIC CHARITIES UPDATE

                I received a note this week from Sr. Mary McCarrick the Diocesan Director of Catholic Charities thanking the parishioners of St. Louis for all we do to serve those in need by our faithful support of the Catholic Charities Appeal.

                Sr. Mary writes: “You have made generous sacrifices on  behalf of the Catholic Charities Appeal for 2018.” (Our goal for the Appeal this year was $116,216.25). “Congratulations on meeting and exceeding your parish goal!” (St. Louis parishioners have donated $119,750.60. $3,534.35 over our goal). “Because of your efforts the poor will be fed and clothed and given medicine. Counseling services will be made available to families and individuals who would otherwise not have been able to get professional help; it is through the Appeal that people receive counseling for domestic violence, addictions and a myriad of personal and family problems. You are the gift to Catholic Charities and have shown love to your neighbors!”
