Thanks be to God we were able to return to church and the celebration of the Eucharist.
Thanks be to God we were able to return to church and the celebration of the Eucharist. For the past three months we have been starving for the spiritual nourishment that only the Eucharist can provide. It was wonderful to re-unite even though we still must social distance. There are a lot of rules and regulations that we must follow for the time being, yet everyone is very understanding. It will be this way for a while. That we can be together again is what counts.
It was a great undertaking to pull everything together in a very short time. It took a great deal of effort. So many people came together to make all of this happen. I am most grateful to all who helped prepare the guidelines, organize the church, and offer assistance over the weekend. It could not have been done without many of us working together. It was a great relief to have so much support. Thank you so much.
I would like to share some comments that I received after Mass:
I just wanted to thank all the volunteers for their hard work in making sure our first post Covid Mass went off without a hitch because it sure did. All the proper protocols were followed and I really liked how the ushers made sure that the collection, communion, and dismissal procedures were followed. Thanks to Father Sal for a lovely Mass and thanks to God for letting us be together again. See you in church - Marilyn.
It was so nice to be back at Mass. It just felt right. It’s certainly what I needed. I’m very grateful for Fr. Sal and my wonderful St. Louis family. God Bless - Diane.
We are blessed with many dedicated members of our parish family. Much thought and effort went into re-opening our church this weekend. It is said that “many hands make for light work”. A big thanks to everyone for making a daunting task happen without a hitch! Fr. Sal is breathing easier because of everyone’s hard work. Again thanks - Kevin.
