The theme for this year’s appeal is “Love Your Neighbor” and the patron saint is St. Clare of Assisi.
The 2018 Catholic Charities Appeal is now under way and continues through the end of June. Two important dates during this year’s Appeal are First Report Sunday on March 18th and the culmination of the Appeal week on Palm Sunday, March 25th. All of our parishioners have been contacted by mail regarding a donation to Catholic Charities.
Through your generosity last year St. Louis parishioners donated $116,216.25 to the Catholic Charities Appeal. Thus our goal set by Catholic Charities for this year is $116,216.25.
The goal for the 2018 Catholic Charities Appeal is $11 million. They still need help to make the goal this year. Catholic Charities and the people they serve are grateful for your gift of faith and love. Your donation helps educate, counsel and train parents, provide care to young children and provide social support to seniors, enabling them to remain safe and healthy in their own homes. Catholic Charities is also there to offer individual, family and marriage counseling and GED education and job assistance for youth. For more information and to read about and watch those who have benefited from Catholic Charities, visit their website ccwny.org.

The theme for this year’s appeal is “Love Your Neighbor” and the patron saint is St. Clare of Assisi. With all of us working together we can achieve our goal and help the Catholic Charities Appeal reach their goal to provide for the many needs of Western New York.
