                On behalf of Catholic Charities Immigration and Refugee Assistance Program, I want to thank your parish for the generous collection of new winter items and blankets: two bags of new fleece blankets, one bag of sweaters and assorted winter garments and six bags of new men’s, women’s and children’s hats, gloves and scarves. Our clients are grateful to have such nice warm stuff and our staff is grateful for your continued support of our mission.

                The generous support of individuals like you makes it possible for our organization to exist and to make the community a great place to live.

                As you can see from the above letter, Catholic Charities does good work and we are proud to be a part of their success. The people they serve through Immigration and Refugee Assistance are coming from countries typically that are much warmer than Buffalo and so they need the warm items our parish is able to provide for them each year.

                This is only one of the good programs that is run by Catholic Charities. There are several others. Shortly, we will once again be asked to support the Annual Catholic Charities Appeal. At this early date, St. Louis Parish has already contributed $14,370 to the 2019 Catholic Charities Appeal.
