Greetings to all in the downtown parishes!

I hope you are enjoying the short Buffalo summer.

     Well, our first month together has been a journey to say the least!  So far things are pulling together and the Mass schedule seems to be working.  The attendance numbers have been very promising.  Holy days and Holidays are still being worked out for the benefit of all using the clergy help we have.  We have lost a couple of our retired clergy to other families who were in desperate need, so please be patient.  Websites and Facebook sites are slowly being updated.

     My residence at St. Michael’s is coming along, Fr. Jacek has moved into St. Anthony’s.  In the next couple of months we will be setting up the “pillars” with a representative from each parish.  These include: Liturgy, Spiritual life, Education, Outreach/In-reach, Stewardship and Administration.  Since our family makeup is very unique these will be adjusted to suit our family and its needs.  Each parish will be maintaining its own individual parish councils and finance committees to address individual parish needs.  Our Business office parish will be St. Michaels and our Finance parish will be St. Louis.  For your questions please go to: Roadtorenewal.org.   In the future I will be tapping shoulders to assist the parishes and pillars, please share your expertise and time, I can’t do this on my own. 

     Together we can pull these parishes together in one strong family, while still maintaining the uniqueness of each that we love.
