Music Event Recital: The Sotto Voce Opera Collective

Sotto Voce, Buffalo’s newest opera company, will present a recital of operatic arias and sacred songs on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 5:00 pm in St. Louis Church, located at Main and Edward Streets in downtown Buffalo.

The performance will feature a number of Sotto Voce vocal artists and is presented as part of St. Louis’ “Sundays at Five” series. A free-will offering will be accepted.

In addition to its program of arias and sacred songs, “An Operatic Showcase” will offer its listeners a “behind-the-scenes” look into Sotto Voce’s upcoming March production of Pietro Mascagni’s one-act classic, Cavalleria Rusticana.

Sotto Voce is a collectively run opera company based here in Buffalo. Its mission is to celebrate the power of the human voice, collaborate across artistic disciplines, and present music drama in innovative performance contexts that re-imagine familiar stories and bring to new ones to life.
