When churches were permitted to reopen again in June there were several protocols that needed to be put in place in order to reopen safely. The wearing of masks, keeping distance from fellow parishioners, and hand sanitizing were among the most obvious.
Emptying the Holy Water Fonts and removing printed materials from the church were required. Hymn books and other resources were to be removed from pews and entry ways and put in storage until the outbreak has passed.
Since the outbreak of Covid19 has not passed and is indeed on the rise we will not be able to put the missalettes out in the church. As we come to the conclusion of one liturgical year and begin a new one, we have received new missalettes for the 20202021 liturgical year.
We will be distributing the missalettes to anyone who would like one. Beginning this weekend the greeters will be handing them out for private use. They are yours to keep for private use and use in church. Since we can’t leave them out it was decided that those who want can have one to bring back and forth with them for Mass.
